Who We Are
Power On Connections are the largest Independent Connections Provider in the UK, offering an alternative service for the provision and delivery of electricity connections for developments requiring a new cumulative load typically over 275kVA. We operate a turnkey solution that differentiates us from many other providers; we pride ourselves on being different by offering innovative design solutions through value engineering, backed with a proven track record. Our national delivery profile means that we are fully accredited to work within each DNO region.
Credibility Assurance
Power On Connections Ltd is owned by The Gas Transportation Company (GTC), one of Britain’s biggest providers of energy infrastructure. GTC are owned by Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P, a company operating a diverse portfolio of quality assets worldwide.
Extensive Knowledge & Experience
To date we have connected over 900MW of electrical load on over 1300 contracts throughout the UK ranging from small scale projects to major infrastructure. Since inception Power On Connections have been working with OFGEM to continually influence the broadening of competition within the electricity connections market, with direct representation on the industry steering group board. We remain at the forefront of improving the service levels and diversity of this market and are well established in the eyes of OFGEM as a major player within our arena.

We are a rapidly growing business yet still small enough to maintain our dedication to customer service, we have structured our business to meet customers’ expectations albeit competitiveness is a main factor, this needs to be balanced with surety of technical competence and capabilities of the organisation to deliver. To achieve this we are prepared to accept elements of risk where we feel it sits better with us which is why we offer a fixed price on an agreed scope with flexible payment options.
